The Role 

This is not a process consultant role. We want someone who genuinely knows Collections & Recoveries: strategy, operations, technology, customer outcomes, and real transformation. 

Credible enough to sit with boards and senior executives. Practical enough to roll their sleeves up and solve real problems. 

Day to day, you will: 

• Lead complex client engagements across strategy, operations, technology, and transformation, owning the outcome from pre-sales through to delivery. 

• Advise C-suite and board-level stakeholders, building trusted, long-term relationships with some of the most sophisticated organisations in the industry. 

• Shape how clients use data, AI, and technology to rethink collections, driving better customer outcomes and commercial performance. 

• Develop and mentor the wider Arum team, contributing to a high-performance culture and sharing your expertise. 

• Contribute to Arum's thought leadership, helping shape the future direction of the industry through articles, frameworks, and market insight. 

What we're looking for 

You may come from consulting, operations, credit risk, recoveries, or technology. Background is less important than depth. What matters most: 

• Extensive, current expertise in Collections & Recoveries: strategy, operations, systems, and customer outcomes. 

• A track record of advising at senior and board level, with the commercial sharpness and credibility to match. 

• Strong consulting instincts: the ability to diagnose complex problems, design the right solution, and lead its delivery. 

• A broad understanding of how organisations really work, including people, process, technology, and culture. 
• Genuine network across the industry and the drive to keep pushing it forward.
